Data residency
For a server provisioned at a given site, the operating system disk, any additional volumes and snapshots taken of them stay on that site's hardware. Traffic is announced locally, so in-country users are not routed via another country to reach you.
If your customer needs a residency statement for a specific site and product, ask and we will issue one in writing rather than you quoting a web page.
Backups
Where backups are stored depends on the product — some back up within the same site, others to our object storage. Where residency matters, confirm the arrangement for the specific product.
Private and dedicated capacity
Dedicated servers and colocation are available in our sites, as is private capacity for partners whose volume justifies it. Both are quoted individually.
